Most leaders highlight the fear of change as one of the top challenges they are facing in the business world today.
In reality, fear is one of the most common reasons for resistance to change because it stops you or your company from taking action
When looking at ways to identify and implement change in our business, ways to ensure we are moving with the times and ways to adapt to employee needs, beliefs and values.
We need to be fully aware of the impact this can and will have on the business
It needs to be done in a controlled, well designed and thought out process
Having leaders of change through the business at all levels, to help implement the change is the key
But also having leaders at the top of your business leading by example is just as important
Most people will only change if the following 3 things have happened within the employee or manager belief system
1) They think it’s a good idea: If I do this what’s in it for me?
2) They Need To Believe they can execute it: Am I Capable of doing it?
3) And They Need to Believe They Are Worthy of the Results.
Once you start to answer these three questions change is inevitable
